I have a feeling that in 10 years Adidas will be seen like how Russell Athletic is seen now. Not to mention how Nike is beating Adidas as it's own game (soccer) internationally.
That's how you'll tell the true fans from the bandwagon fans--bandwagon fans will only have Nike gear.
I'll just be so happy we're doing well enough to have bandwagon fans I won't even care when they got on the train.
The only pieces of Tennessee apparel I have left are a couple of caps, a Columbia fleece, and a black t-shirt with Smokey on the front and a Power T on the back which I don't really like. I haven't seen apparel I liked in years. I also finally threw out my Lane Kiffin "It's Time" shirt. Memories.
Ten years ago today might have been good for me. Now? I don't give a shit what we wear or how it looks. Just flipping win.
Saw a bunch of Adidas UT gear at a Pilot in Crossville yesterday. Found it odd to find Adidas anything at a gas station.
